Not Me Monday!!

I got this title from a blog that I keep up with daily!! You are supposed to tell all on Not Me Mondays...

For instance, I certainly did NOT eat all the Oreos that were supposed to be for my children. I would never do that, I am on a diet. I did NOT fart so bad when we were all in the car, that Ryan had to roll down the windows and stick his head out. I would Never do that, I am a lady! I would Never and I mean never bribe my kids to eat their veggies. That would not be good! They always eat them with out a fight.
So, if you all have some things to confess, just put them in your NOT me Monday blog. Lets get this started. I think it will be a blast.

Ryan has given the boys a bath and I am sitting here updating you all on what is going on lately. It is almost Thanksgiving, and boy, do I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for my loving husband and my georgous cheerful kids. I am thankful for having a job. Now days jobs are hard to come by and I am so very thankful that I can get up every day and go to work. Mostly, I am thankful that God sent his son to die for our sins. And that he loves us with all his being. He is always there for me, especially when I think that he has abandoned me, he is still there.

I am going to end for now, Peyton is screaming he wants a "BUN" (honey bun)

Have a wonderful night and God Bless,
Jen

If your happy and you know it.......

Say Amen!! I am so happy that my sickness is finally going away. I have been sick for a week and a half with bronchitis. That is so miserable. Coughing all time time makes me think that my head will explode at any minute. Ode to the Z-Pak!!

Today at Rileys school, they did a Veteran's Day program. It was so stinking cute. He did sign language to the Pledge of Allegence and sang two songs. He looked so big up there. And yes, for those that are secretely asking... I DID CRY!! I can't help it. Every time I see my children hit a new stage in their life, it just makes me sad and happy at the same time. Happy to see them grow into young beautiful boys and sad b/c they are not babies anymore. I miss my snuggie time laying on the couch. Now, I am second best to the infamous, DADDY!!!!

I truely enjoyed having today off. I have gotten so much done with the house, but there is ALWAYS so much to do. And especially since I have been sick, not much has been done.

Oh, and the new NEWS on the home front is..... I have a new car. Well, new to me anyway. We bought a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan Anniversary edition. I love that van. So comfy. And finally rid of the fall apart mobile. :)

Well, that is about it for now. My family is playing a board game, so I must join in and lose.

God Bless,
Jennifer

Cats and babies

What do you get when you have a baby that loves cats and tries to give them hugs? Well, let me answer you, a baby that has a huge bite on his head. Bandits teeth went deep into Peytons head. I am livid. I was on my way to beat the crap out of the cat and Ryan stopped me telling me that it was not Bandits fault. Uh HELLO, he bit Pey. The cat MUST die. Well, maybe not literally, but I am so mad. Hopefully it heals okay and he doesn't get an infection from it.

Riley is now spelling red, black, blue, yellow, green and purple. He recognizes them as well. I can't believe how fast he is learning. He absolutely loves his teacher Mrs. Ashby.

The boys have now had their bath and are in bed. I am going to enjoy some down time and relax a while.

Have a wonderful evening.

Absent but I have returned

Oh my goodness!! I have been away for a while, and it feels soooo good to be back. Lots of things have went on , but I didn't right them all down so I can't quite tell you everything.

Rileys t-ball was so much fun. I absolutely loved seeing my big boy out there trying his hardest at the game. Unfortunately, they did not win a game, but they had so much fun playing. He met so many new little friends. One of them is in his Kindergarten class this year. They are best buds.

Riley is now in Kindergarten and is learning all kinds of things. He is learning to spell and to recogize words. Won't be long now and he will be reading. The attitude is a totally different story. It is making me crazy. And not that Riley is bad enough, Peyton is learning his attitude from Riley. Oh twice the trouble.
Riley is going to the Firestation tomorrow at school. That will be so much fun for him.

We have been working with Peyton on using the potty. It was going pretty good there for a while, but then on Saturday I decided to let him wear undies and he went thru 5 pairs. That was enough for me. The diaper went back on. LOL

My dad is doing really well. He is up walking and driving, but I think the state is trying to take his license away. He has to retake different kinds of test. I sure hope he passes them. Driving gives him freedom and taking that away is definately not good. I am praying that God helps guide him thru this road block and that he passes all the tests he needs too.

Well, little ones are in bed. I am going off to enjoy an evening with my wonderful hubby.

God Bless,
Jenn

Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my...

We will be going to the zoo this Monday. Ryan and I took off work to join Riley and his class at the zoo. Riley will ride the school bus for the first time ever. Ryan and I will drive our car and just meet the bus there. I think Riley will absolutely love it. We are leaving Pay at Debbies, this is just a day for Riley. Soon, we will take Peyton.
Anyone think that SpongeBob is just too much. WE have been watching it since Riley was a baby and just tonight Ryan came home with Sponge Bob Halloween from Block Buster. How could he do this me. Oh the horror!!!
As I am typing this blog my littlest one has his arms out and turning himself in a circle with a really weird face. It is cracking me up. Some of the stuff these kids do is just too much. Like Sunday, we were on our way to church and Peyton and Riley was playing in the back seat. Thankfully they were really behaving and not fighting. Anyway, I hear Riley say something and I asked him what he said, his reply, "NOTHING!" I knew immediately what he said and finally I asked again and this time he says ASSHOLE. I about flipped. I asked him where he learned that word b/c Ryan and I do not talk like that, and he told me that he heard it from a kid at school. My mom has always told me that when they start school they will bring all kinds of stuff home with them. And now I totally believe it. I gave him the lecture of "this is not the way we talk and if you do it again I will wash your mouth out, speach" Hopefully it works.
I will take some cute new pictures of the boys and put them in my next blog. They are getting so big.
My dad is doing wonderful, I just came from mom and dads just visiting. He is getting up and walking alot. He has been going up and down the stairs. May 11th he starts his rehab at the VA, I think that he will either go 3 or 4 times a week. I really pray that they help him get his arm back. He is determined to play the guitar again, and I know that thru God it will happen. It might just take some time, but God is the one that makes miracles happen, and him alone!! We just need to have faith in the Lord, b/c thru him ALL things are possible.
One last thing, I would love for you to go over and visit the webite www.kayleighannfreeman.com this wonderful, beautiful and strong little girl needs lots of prayers. She was born very prematurely and only weighed 1lb 1oz. She was doing amazingly well and then had a surgery, one of many, and every since then they have determined that she is brain dead. Please God, wrap your arms around this family and show them the comfort and love that you have. I know that they will be so hurt and devastated when Kayleigh goes to be with you , but I know their faith in you. Please Lord, just give them peace. Amen.

God Bless,
Jen

working on the railroad, all the live long day....

I am so tired of doing laundry, dishes and everything else that comes my way. My back hurts, I need a bath and I am so tired.

We have played outside most of the weekend. We planted 4 tomato plants and went to church today. I have been doing housework since we got home today, so if you come into my house watch out for the piles of clothes everywhere. LOL I need a cleaning lady. Although, she probably would take off running when she walked in, but if I can bar the door closed I am sure we could get alot done. :)

We have a game tomorrow night.I wonder how we will do. I am sure that we will not win, b/c we are just not that good yet. Come on, this is just our first year of playing.

I am getting off here now to get my bath and head to bed.

21 to 11....

That is the score of the game tonight. We are starting to get a bit better. Those kids are so funny to watch. Imagine 13 or 14 kids out on the field picking daisies and chasing after bugs instead of watching the ball... Kids that hit the ball and then take the bat with them to first base.. or my all time favorite, they hit the ball and then just stand there or start to run to 3rd base instead. The wind was horrible tonight. We had some rain today, but man alive. I almost had to shave my head to get all the tangles out of it when I got in the car after the game. We finally got our uniforms in tonight. Riley looks so handsome in his. We are called the Fire Hawks. Is that an intiminating name or what?!

We had a few people come and watch Riley play his game last night. Papa Mack and Granda Mack, Amanda, my sister Bobbie and my mom and dad came. I am sure glad that they all came to watch him. He was so excited.

So, what about American Idol?? Anyone have any thoughts as to who they think will win? I am starting to think that Adam might win, but I really don't like him much. I really like Gokey and Alison. Come on guys tell me what you think.

I will leave you with a few new pictures of the boys. ENJOY!!!

Sun Shine or Rain?!?!

Living in Oklahoma, is beyond bareable sometimes. One minute the weather is nice and 80 degrees out and the next minute it is 28 and snowing hard. I am so ready for summer to get here. I want to be outside playing with the boys and having cookouts with my family. We have missed 3 games now b/c of the weather. Hopefully we will get to play tomorrow. Riley is starting to wonder if he will ever get to play again. LOL Poor guy.

Dad is doing very well. He has Physical and Occupational Rehab come into the home and work with him. Last night when I went to see him, he showed me that he can lift a 2lb weight with his left hand. So, progress is being made. MORE PROGRESS PLEASE!!!! Please keep him and our family in your prayers that he gets his full recovery.

Well, I must go now. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Always look to GOD, he is the answer to all problems.

God Bless,
Jen

Winter Wonderland coming right up....

Yeap you read it right, we are supposed to have 2-3 inches in the Tulsa area. Have I told you lately how I HATE the snow and cold... well, I do. They were just toying with us when we had the 75-80 degree weather. I think the panhandle in Oklahoma is going to be getting some type of blizzard. I hear they are to expect 6-12 inches tomorrow. Honey, I have changed my mind about moving to Canada!!!

Everyone is doing well, we are just keeping up with the kids. Lets see.......

Riley- Doing very well in school and learning lots. They will be taking a trip to the zoo soon with his school which I am very nervous about. I told Ryan that he could not go unless one of us goes as well. There are too many kids and I don't think they can watch them like they are supposed to. T- Ball is wonderful. He loves it. His first game was going to be last night but the rain kept us home instead, he was quite upset about it, but they are rescheduling it for Wednesday. Which I think it is going to rain then as well.

Peyton- Oh, what can I say about this little onry guy. He has the most amazing way to throw fits.. He throws himself onto the ground kicking and screaming. God help me with this little one.. I so hope this will pass. Then there are times that he just looks at you and gives me that little toothy grin. Oh, and yes he does know to make the monkey sound. It is so stinking cute. I had to call mom and dad last night for them to hear it. I am not sure of his growth stats, but I know that his feet are getting so big. Just in December we bought a size 4 and now in March they are up to a 5 1/2. That is just three months. Can't wait to see what I am in for when the boys get into their teens.

I guess I will leave you all with this little update. I hope each and everyone of you trust in GOD with all you do, b/c with him you will not fail. Always believe and he will give you the strength to get through anything.

God Bless,
Jen

RAIN AGAIN???

URG, I hate this rain.... We have not gotten much practice in with T-Ball b/c it is either too cold or it is raining. We are for sure going to SUCK!!!! LOL Riley is loving the game. They are all so cute out there "pretending" to pay attention.

I am asking that everyone that reads my blog to please pray hard for baby Stellan. His blog is at the right of mine. He is an adorable and sweet 6 month old who has a very life threatening heart problem. Things are not going well with him right now, but we know what GOD can do. So I am asking you to get those knees dirty and pray hard for this baby and his wonderful family right now. They are going through so much.

Dad is doing wonderfully now. He is at home and getting his physical and occupational rehab. Nurses come twice a week to do blood work. Hopefully he will be up and walking soon.

Sorry so short this time I promise to have more to say later.

God Bless,
Jen

Wonderful God!!!!!

Yes, that is right. We have the most amazing and wonderful God. He is working his miracles on daddy. Let me explain, yesterday I called momma as I was on my way home from work as I do everyday to check on my sweet dad. This time she tells me that daddy has a suprise for me when I get there. I quickly asked what it was and being the woman she is, she would not tell me. LOL
So, I hurried getting the boys fed and out the door I ran, so excited to see what daddy had for ME?? I pulled up to the parking lot, jumped out of my car and ran into the building. I could hardly wait to see. When I came around the corner, I could hear my uncle (dads brother) ask if I had seen yet, everyone said NO. So when I walked into the room, I seen daddy pick up his left leg and move it all over the place. This was the most amazing thing. Just the day before, he could only barely move his toes and now he can move his whole let. The expression "cry a river of tears" surely fit this situation. I was bawling like a little baby, then he started crying. It was wonderful to see him move again. Now, the next praying we need to do is to get that arm working again. I want him back to playing the guitar ASAP!!!! And that is not fast enough.

Always believe in GOD.
FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE

God Bless

Five years ago today I went in for my doctors appt. Not knowing it would be my last of OB appts with my very first baby. We were expecting a baby boy, our pride and joy. I went in for my appt and things were good, I had a bit of swelling and they took my blood pressure and it was high. They made me lay on my left side for about 30 minutes to see if it would go down and when they checked it again it was still pretty high. My lovely OB told me that she thought that it was time for us to meet our little one, so off to the hosptial I went. When I got there they hooked me up to the monitors and inserted cervadil. This medication was to ripen my cervix b/c I was not dialated much at all. I kept it in all night and then the next morning they would start the pitocin. I was a nervous wreck. We had been trying to have a baby for some time and it finally was happening. After a few hours of the pitocin I was in PAIN!! I didn't want the epidural at all. I am not a fan of needles, especially if they are getting close to my spine, so I opted for the shot of Stadol. OMG, that drug is evil. I go that in my IV and the next thing I knew I was totally passed out. I would only wake up for contractions and then I would go back to sleep. I finally got dilated to a 6 and then I stopped progressing. That is when my doctor told me that I was going in for a C-Section. At this point, I didn't care how this baby came out, I was so loopy from the drug. So, they came in and gave me an epidural, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but very welcomed after the monster contractions I was having. So, off to OR I went. They started the surgery and within minutes my beautiful little bundle of joy was born at 5:23pm at 7lbs 8oz and 20in long. He didn't have much hair but he had the most beautiful dimples EVER!!!! I was so happy, I finally had the baby that I had longed for for so long. Ryan was in the delivery room with me and got to hold him and he brought him over to me and I cried and cried. It was the most amazing day of my life. This little boy is the light that shines bright each and every day. His smiles still make my day.

Happy Birthday my love!!

And for those that are wondering about my dad, he is doing better. I finally got to see him last night after not seeing him for about 2 weeks. It was wonderful. I have missed him terribly. We had a great evening of chatting and lots of hugs and kisses. I can't wait for him to come home. He is eating regular soft foods now and can drink without the thickener added to his liquids now. And get this................ He is moving his left toes!!! Praise GOD. We still need him to be able to walk, so we have a way to go but he is definately improving.

I wanted to just say that for everyone reading this, PLEASE take advantage of the time that you have with your loved one. I know that I definately appreciate mine ALOT more. You never know when your time to leave this world may be. Just be thankful for everything that you have in your life and praise GOD for it all, b/c with him everything is possible.

Lots of Love and God Bless,
Jen

Movin' on UP!!

My dad got accepted to Bernsen Rehab, thank GOD!! He is going over there today and they will be working with him for 3 hrs a day, and every Tuesday we get a progress report. Please keep the prayers coming for him to have the strength to get thru this and can regain most of his motor skills back. He will have to stay there 4-6 weeks and b/c his stroke was so bad he may be there for 60 days. Just depends on how fast he recovers. They say that what stroke victims recover in a year is all they will get back, but I believe that the Lord is the one that makes that decision for people, not the doctors. Mom and I went on a hunt for some plain grey sweats suits last night and ended up going to 3 different Wal-Marts before we found them. Thank goodness for Sand Springs Wal-Mart, they almost always have everything you are looking for.

Peyton is doing much much better. He has a few more days on his antibiotic and then he will be done. We are not doing the breathing treatments anymore either. He doesn't really need them anymore. Hopefully this crap will go away and stay good and away for EVER!!!! I bought some Mucinex D last night at the store and it has helped tremendously. I can breathe finally and I am getting all the crap out of my chest. And you only have to take it every 12 hrs which is good for me, I hate taking medicine anyway!!

Riley is doing good in school. We have had a few incidents where he was getting in trouble for hitting and acting up, but hopefully that will calm down. He will have his Valentine's Party tomorrow. They are getting a pizza party. Oh to be in Pre K... I would love it.

Have a great and Blessed day.

Sick AGAIN!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated my blog, but I have had some serious family emergencies. On January 27th 2009 my dad Bill had a massive stroke. It has left him completely paralized on the left side. They found around 3 blood clots in his body that were very life threatening. He is now on blood thinners everyday to keep the clots away. They have taken the feeding tube out and he is eating pureed foods now. I know it is gross, but he will be able to eat regular foods when he gets more therapy. They have him sitting up in chairs to try and get his back from being so sore and hurting. If you know my dad, he has had a bad back for some time now. The next step is for him to go to Bernsen Rehab. Hopefully they will be able to get him in soon. He has a long road ahead and I know that he can do it. God will give him the strength to get better. God is AMAZING!!! He works so many miracles. We just have to keep praying that he will guide and protect my dad as he goes thru this. My dad is a strong man and when he sets his mind on doing something he gets R DUN!!!! LOL

Then to top it all off, Peyton my poor little guy has RSV, Pneumonia and an ear infection. He has been sick for over a week now. He is on antibiotics now and is feeling much better, but now MOMMA has the crud. And it stinks b/c I can't go see dad in the hospital if I am sick. So, it has now been over a week since I got to see him. This too shall pass and good things are in store for our family. I just feel it.

Thanks for listening and may each one of you have a blessed day.

WINTER WONDERLAND!!

You read this right, it is definately a wintery scene outside today. Snow and ice everywhere. I love it even though I had to go to work today. Very minimal people at the office today, but that is okay and it has been quite slow. They bought pizza for everyone today for lunch, boy it was good. Now I have the radio cranked up and just working away.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the week. Take care and God Bless.

Finally Friday!!

So, it is Friday now and I am on day 4 of my diet. It's going pretty well although I keep hearing voices telling me I CAN have that cinnamon roll. I just shake my head and go on about my business. Then, today my friend Breanna brought rice crispy treats. Oh, lord, how did she know that I absolutely love them. They are my favorite treat. But I am staying clear of them. I just hope and pray that someone tears into them so that they are not sitting on the lunch room table anymore.

We don't really have plans this weekend. I am going over to my friends new house tomorrow and I am going to help her paint it all pretty. Ryan is keeping the boys, so I get a bit of "me" time, which is desperately needed these days. I am actually pretty excited about it. I can't wait. Ryan said that he needed to sleep in a bit tomorrow morning before I go. Does he think that being a parent you can sleep in?!? Just wondering b/c I haven't got to sleep in for almost 5 years.

Both boys are doing very well. Peyton has a bit of a cold and getting him to eat dinner now days is pretty challenging. Although, if I ate as much as he does a Debbie's I would not want to eat dinner either. He PIGS out there. But as long as he is eating I am not going to force it. He will eat when he is hungry. Riley is doing good in school. We got a note in his Eagle folder on Wednesday that he slapped a little boy in the face b/c he was blocking Riley while he was riding the scooter at school. Needless to say, he got grounded for the first time ever. Just for 2 days, but still hitting is NOT allowed. But the very next day a good report again. It must have just been one of his off days. We sent 10.00 to Riley's school so that on Valentines day he gets this weird looking monkey, balloons and a little mailbox filled with candies and little trinkets. He is going to be so excited.
I have like 4 birthday invitations to choose from for Riley and I can't make up my mind which one I like. Decisions Decisions.

Hope everyone stays warm and cozy the next few days. It is supposed to be really cold.

God Bless

Sunny!

Yeap, you read that right. We are having 65 degree weather here today. Wonderful. I just wish I was at home enjoying it instead of being stuck inside working today. I am just thankful that I still have a job to come to everyday. God blesses us everyday.

I just have a quick request for everyone that reads my blogs. Pray, Pray, Pray hard for little Ms Kayleigh Freeman. The link to her blog is on the right side of my blog homepage. She was born very prematurely and can not breathe on her own right now. They are saying that she will either have a trach or be on the resperator the rest of her life. I am just asking that you keep this family and baby Kayleigh in your prayers that they can find out why her little body is not allowing the air to move easily thru her lungs and a fast easy fix for it.
She is such a precious baby.

Joking kind of day

A husband and wife are shopping in their local Wal-Mart. The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart.

'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife.
'They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans,' he replies. 'Put them back, we can't afford them,' demands the wife, and so they carry on shopping.

A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the basket.
'What do you think you're doing?' asks the husband. 'Its my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,' replies the wife. Her husband retorts:
'So does 24 cans of Budweiser and its half the price.'

On the PA system: 'Cleanup needed on aisle 25, we have a husband down'

Wonderful Wednesday

Nine years ago today I was looking into the eyes of the man I was getting ready to say I DO to. I can't believe that it has been nine years already. We have had our ups and downs but it has been wonderful. Ryan and I met when we worked at Homeland Grocery store. We started dating and were inseperable. Four years later, we got married. Four years later we had Riley, and almost 4 years after that we had Peyton. Wonder what will happen 4 years from now? LOL This man is the most careing, compasionate, wonderful man EVER!! He has given me the two most beautiful boys in the world and his unconditional love always. I want to thank you Ryan, for choosing me to be your wife. I love you and will always love you til the day I die. Happy Anniversary my love!!

Tisky Tisky Tuesday!!

Oh, what I wouldn't do to be at home again with my wonderful, beautiful little boys!! They are my everything. Just looking at them, I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be their mom. Absolutely precious.

Peyton is really understanding what we say to him. Like when I tell him it is time for bed. Off to his room he goes and he pulls on the slats on the crib with a grunting sound, trying to pull himself up into the crib to go Night Night! And Riley with his charming smile and since of humor. That boy has me rolling sometimes. You never know what he will do or say next!

Didn't really do much this weekend. Made a trip to Logan's Steakhouse for our anniversary which is tomorrow. Wonderful food. Steak, Salad, BREAD, and baked potato. Oh so YUMMY!!
I had to work Saturday morning, then off to buy groceries. I really really hate doing that. Everything is so stinking expensive. Why is milk almost 4.00 a gallon?? Come on, Really. Can anyone tell me that. It is outrageous. Oh, yes and you can't forget the 10.00 T-Bone steak. Just one, not two or three, just one lonely steak.
Sunday we went to church came home and I took another 3 hour nap. Loving my naps. LOL

Hope everyone has a wonderful day
God Bless

Snowy Thursday!!

Yes, you read it right. It is finally snowing here in Oklahoma. Not much, just a little dusting on the roads. I wish the sky would just open up and give us like 5 ft of snow. NO ice storms, just snow. I didn't like the fact that last year we were with out electricity for 5 days. That really stunk. I am sure that the boys would love to get into the snow and play for a while and maybe make FROSTY. Only if I could remember what I did with that magical black hat.

I made roast, fried rice, green beans and jalapeno pinto beans for dinner last night. Oh, it was sooo good. The boys didn't want to eat much last night, they just wanted to play, which is typical for them. Peyton absolutely loves his big brother.

I still need to get that picture of Peyton's hair cut up. I will have Ryan do that tonight. Sorry, guys I keep forgetting.

I will be off work on Monday, it is a holiday. Both boys have appts. Riley a dentist appt and Peyton has to get his second Flu shot. And it happens to be my dads birthday also. I am glad for the 3 day weekend. It is much needed.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day
God Bless,
Jen

Who all watched American Idol last night? That show just kills me..So many WEIRD people in this world think they can sing. I think someone has been lying to them. LOL And the new judge?!?! I think she is pretty cool. Very pretty! When the girl with the bikini came on, I just knew it was going to be an all out war between them. Seriously, who would ever wear a bikini to audition? She was a little bit of eye candy, but that is besides the point.

This diet thing is just not working out for me. I NEED to find something that I can stick with. I have NO will power, and I just can't stand it anymore. I refuse to buy bigger clothes b/c I know I can lose the weight. I just need to jump in and get started.... But, the poptart I just ate is not helping. GRRR!

While Ryan was lifting weights last night, I put Peyton on our bed and went to the living room for a second, the next thing I hear is a loud band and Peyton screaming, I ran into the room to find that he had fallen off the bed. He is VERY careful and knows that he will fall off if he gets too close, but I guess he didn't judge himself very well. So, I took him to the livingroom and got his favorite blankie and he layed on me for a while. I made sure that he was okay and the off he went to get into something else. Such a dare devil that boy is.

Riley has come home now everyday with either a star or a smiley face in his EAgle folder. This folder allows the teacher to communicate with the parents as to how well they are doing in school. He is doing much better now. I am so proud of him.

Have a wonderful day and God Bless,
Jen

Tickle Tuesday

That title is pretty funny if you could see Peyton this morning. That boy is a mess. He ALWAYS wakes up in a good mood. No matter what kind of morning I have, I can always count on him to have a huge smile on his face. This morning I turned on the light and started to rub his back and I could see this big toothy smile looking back at me. Then he started to laugh hysterically. He loves to be tickled so that just made his day.
New words*** Thanks and Daddy***

If you have ever seen the movie Wall-E you can imagine what Daddy sounds like. LOL Too cute.

Riley gets to check out a book every Monday and bring it home and we read it everyday and then return it on Friday. This week was Arthur likes to read. This book is about a little boy who tries to teach his younger sister how to read, but she already knows how to. Then at the very end of the book Arthur sits on a bench and DW ( his sister) tells him to get up and now it is her turn to teach Arthur to read and she reads the WET PAINT sign to him that is on the bench. That is Rileys favorite part.

We didn't do much this weekend. The usual grocery shopping and laying around. Ryan worked and the boys and I went to my mom and dads for a while. Sunday we went to church and came home and took a much needed nap. Oh, I love those!!!!

Have I ever told you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE my wonderful husband??? This man is the absolute meaning to everything in my life. I came home yesterday and my house was CLEAN. It was wonderful to come home to a clean house. Thanks so much babe!!

God Bless,

Finally Friday!

I think I say that every Friday, but oh it feels so good to get a couple of days off. (from work that is)You never get days off from the home life. Although I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I have been begging Ryan for a while now to take me to see Twilight. I want to see that movie soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. Oh, and of course The Unborn. I know, I have a sick sick mind. But here and there I like me some horror movies. Just not sure if I will be able to go this weekend. I have so much housework to do and grocery buying to do. Maybe some other time.

My friend Breanna and I went to a place in Tulsa for lunch called El Tequilla... Oh, my I am like a big stuffed big waiting for the roasting. LOL I am stuffed. But it was really really good. No complaints at all. The cheese enchalidas are wonderful, oh and their salsa. YUMMY.

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend and be safe

God Bless,

Short Wednesday!!

I am looking forward to getting off work early today. I have to leave at 1 to pick the boys up by 1:30. Debbie has an appointment today. I just love getting off early and spending time with them. They are the light of my life. Riley is really getting funny with the stuff that he says and now that Peyton is walking, it is just fun to watch him interact with Riley. God has blessed me definately. I never in a million years thought that I would have kids, but now that I have them I can't remember life without them. Crazy, hu? If you could have kids and they already be out of the baby stage I would take six more, but the crying and non stop fussing tends to get to be to much sometimes. I think Peyton does it just to hear himself make noise. And he knows that it drives me crazy. LOL
Sorry, this is such a sort blog today, but I really didn't have much to say. I will blog more later.

God Bless,
Jen

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?

Yesterday I felt this weird pain on the back side of my left leg and by the time I got home it was hurting worse. When I got home and I looked, it is another Staph infection sore. How much more can there be? I am sick beyond belief with this crap!!

We got Peyton's hair cut Saturday. It was pretty emotional since I wanted to keep all those baby curls. I figured that once he got his hair cut then the curls would be gone, but I was totally wrong. They are still there and more!! I love it!! We had to put Peyton on his breathing treatments, he is very congested and is not improving. I am scared to death of RSV so I will be keeping an eye on him closely. He does the albuterol treatments every 4-6 hrs as needed for congestion and wheezing. Hopefully he will be getting better soon!! Say a quick prayer for him please.

I am on day 2 of my diet and really craving the foods that I have to NOT eat!! I am determined this time to get all this weight off of me. I am sick of looking like a beached whale. I am drinking my water and definately not eating as much as normal. I have to keep a level head or I will snap back into eating everything in sight.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Sleepy Sunday!!

The title says it all. I had the hardest time getting up and around today to do anything. There was so much house work to be done that I just looked around and sighed... Ryan on the other hand got up and started right in on it. This man is amazing, anyone that will clean toilets is number 1 in my book. Thanks babe, I owe ya one.

Riley starts back up school Tuesday. He is so ready for it too. I think he really misses his friends. He needs that interaction, I really think that he is pretty advanced in his class. Not quite sure how to speak to his teacher about this, I guess I will just have to send her an e-mail or something.

We went to visit GG( Grandma Gatlin, Ryan's grandma) today and Peyton was cruzing all around the apartment and came back to us in the living room and had something in his mouth. I pulled out a white pill. I was about ready to freak out. Well, I did a bit. GG said that it was one of her pain pills, well that made me feel a bit better. Thank goodness it was not a blood pressure pill. I will leave that one up to Riley. Once when Riley was a baby he got ahold of my moms blood pressure meds and tasted it. I guess he didn't like the way it tasted so he spit them back in the bottle. Anyway, I have been watching Peyton and he has not had any reactions to it. I don't think it will have an effect on him.

Good Night and God Bless,

Friday after New Years

First off, I want to say that I hope everyones New Year was great!! May God bless each and everyone of you with happiness.

Well, yesterday kicked off not too well. I guess you can say that momma bear woke in a bad mood. I don't know what was going on, but I bit Ryans head off more than once and was in a terrible mood with the boys. Maybe it was because we were all in the house all day. Not sure, but I can tell you that the mood left me after I took a 3 hr nap. Oh, it was so nice. And of course the reason I got to do that is because Peyton laid down for 3 1/2 hours. He was pretty tired. I guess walking now just wears him smooth out.

We did have our blackeyed peas. I fixed cornbread, ham and fried potatoes with it. It was pretty good. Even Riley at first said the peas were good, then recanted after he ate another bite. LOL
Peyton of course scarfed them right down. That boy will eat anything and everything.

I better get back to work..

Have a wonderful day, God Bless

ONE MORE POST THIS EVENING

I just wanted to leave you all with a couple of pictures of the boys that I absolutely love.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. I hope everyone is having a great day. Don't forget the black eyed peas. I used to not like them, but I do now. Only if they would bring me some luck. Just let me win the lottery, I would so be happy about that. Just enough to pay off the house. Oh, what a happy woman I would be.

I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I have nasal MRSA. What is that you might ask? Well, it is a big sore in my nose that drains green puss. And add a sinus infection to that and you have a really MAD nose!!! She gave me a prescription for some nasal ointment that I have to use in both nostrils 2 times a day for 5 days. We all have to be treated for this b/c it is so contagious. This is the second time we have had to do this. The staph will never go away, we will always be prone to it. Thank you St. Johns Hospital for the free painful sores that you gave me!

I pray that everyone has a prosperous New Year and can keep your resolutions going!!

God Bless
Jen
